Onclick is proud to be developing the ‘Dementia Training Centre’ with global leaders in mental health research, South London and Maudsley NHS Trust and Kings College London: www.dementiatrainingcentre.co.uk
This programme is the first in a suite of courses for the site that will be available to any medical staff working with those with dementia.
It outlines and describes the non-cognitive symptoms of dementia, including mood and behavioural disturbances and psychosis. The course looks at the research and literature evidence for interventions that enable whose working with sufferers from dementia to understand the experience and minimise these challenging behaviours.
